Bobby the Blue-Footed Booby

Bobby the Blue-Footed Booby flew over the Galapagos Islands. He was alone in the sky.

“Where is everyone?” he wondered.

Then he saw the other sea birds. They were on the beach laughing and playing games. No one had bothered to invite Bobby.

Bobby landed on the beach. “Hi guys! Can I play, too?” he asked.

“Well, look who it is!” Peter Penguin said. “It’s Bobby the Booby, with his sparkly blue feet! Is that a fresh coat of paint you have on there?”

“He is so funny looking,” laughed Freddie the Finch.

“We’d let you join our race, but we wouldn’t want you to ruin your twinkle toes,” said Buddy, a booby with red feet.
