Detective Jordan: The Case of the Water Bandits

It was a hot day. Jordan and his little brother, Miles, ran outside to play in the sprinklers.

“Turn on the water,” Miles yelled.

Jordan twisted the faucet. Nothing happened.

“Oh no,” Miles cried, “Where’s the water?”

Jordan smiled. This was a case for— Detective Jordan!

He ran into the house and grabbed his detective hat, magnifying glass, and notebook.

“Miles, my loyal assistant,” he said. “Let’s find out what happened to the water!”
