Hermes: God of Sports

There was a god in ancient Greece named Hermes.

He liked to have lots of fun.

When Hermes was only a few days old, he climbed out of his crib. He ran straight out of the house.

“Come back here, son,” Zeus yelled. He chased after the baby, but couldn’t catch him.

Hermes grew up to be a strong boy. He could run really fast. He wore special sandals that had wings. And, he loved to play tricks.
