Mozart and Beethoven Rock!

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart walked home from school, ready to get to his guitar. He loved music and loved playing for his pals.

As he passed the park he heard an unexpected sound. Music poured out from the playground.

He followed the noise and found a boy playing a guitar on top of a picnic table. Mozart’s friends were there, bopping to the tune.

“Who’s that?” He asked one of his friends.

“He’s the new kid,” his friend said. “His name is Ludwig van Beethoven. He rocks!”

“Oh, yeah?” Mozart said. He didn’t like someone else stealing the show.

“Hey, kid!” he called. “I challenge you to a guitar duel. Let’s see who the best guitarist in the neighborhood really is!”

“Uh, well, I guess,” Beethoven replied.
