Vlad the Vampire

Most vampires sleep in coffins. They also like the dark. And bats.

But not Vlad. Vlad was a vampire who didn’t like being a vampire.

First of all, vampires only go out at night.

But poor Vlad was afraid of the dark!

When the sun went down, every little sound scared him. He shook all night long.

Vampires also dress in dark clothes.

Well, Vlad had a special vampire outfit made just for him. It was covered in blinking lights. It had a glow-in-the-dark cape, too.

Vlad loved his outfit. He felt safe with it on. The other vampires hated it.

Vlad wasn’t a big fan of bats, either.

When he saw a bat, he’d run away. Or he’d try to hit it with a broom.
