Zombie Elementary: Brains for Lunch

It was lunchtime at Zombie Elementary, and it was Luke’s first day. The tables were full. He did not know where to sit.

“Hey, over here!” a boy called. It was a boy from Luke’s class. His name was Ivan. The other two were Tina and Zack.

Luke sat at the table. “Thanks,” he said.

Zack, Ivan, and Tina ate plates of brains from the cafeteria. Luke opened up his lunch bag. He started taking out his food. He had an apple, three carrots, and a salad.

“What is that?” Tina asked. “It looks gross.”

“Are you the Easter Bunny?” Ivan laughed. “I met him. He loves carrots. But we didn’t give him a hard time because he’s friends with Santa.”
