Leopold Looks for a Winner

King Leopold the Lion sat upon his throne.
His claws clickety-clacked against hard stone.

Today was the contest and it was his duty,
To be a fair judge of each animal’s beauty.

Leopold was wise, and he knew he must decide,
Based not on their looks, but on what’s inside.

The animals would come from all over Earth,
To showcase their talents, to prove their worth.
