Pluto the Lonely Dwarf Planet

“Hey dwarf!” one of the big planets teased.

Pluto turned. It was Jupiter, the biggest planet in the solar system. He was also the biggest bully.

“Dwarf Planet! Dwarf Planet!” the big planet taunted.

Pluto dropped his head and sulked. He felt cold. Then again, Pluto was covered with ice. He was always cold.

Now Pluto was lonely, too. Everything changed once he was kicked out of the solar system for being too small.

None of Pluto’s old friends wanted to play with him anymore. Not even Neptune.

Before, when Pluto’s orbit crossed Neptune’s orbit, they always played. Not anymore.
