The First Pharaoh

Re was all-powerful, and he could take on many forms. If he spoke the name of something, it came into being.

“I am called Khepera at the dawn, Re at noon, and Atum in the evening,” he said.

And so the sun rose, passed across the sky, and set for the first time.
