A Valentine for Annie

Ricky likes Annie.

She is the coolest girl! She’s funny. She is good at sports. She even shares her comic books.

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day. Ricky wants to give Annie a gift. He thinks she might like a candy bar.

But when he checks his pockets... Oh no! There’s a hole! All his money is gone.

Ricky asks his Mom for help. “What can I give Annie?” he asks. “I lost my money.”

“Why don’t you make a card?” Mom says. Ricky loves that idea! He is good at drawing.
