Ben Franklin and the Kiteboard

Benjamin Franklin was born in Boston. He was one of 17 children.

It was a big family and they were always really busy. But Ben liked to be quiet and to read. He learned many things from his books.

He tried all sorts of experiments. Sometimes they worked.

Sometimes they didn’t.

When they didn’t work, his brothers and sisters teased him.

One day Ben read a book about swimming.

It was then that he decided he was going to be the fastest thing in the waters of Boston.
