Football Star

Dion was at his annual family picnic in the park. He watched his older cousins playing football. He wished he could play too, but they said he was too small.

“Come back after you grow a few more feet,” his cousin Dylan said.

Dion kicked the dirt. He really wanted to play. If only they would give him a chance.

He walked to the other side of the field. He stood on the sidelines and watched the game. He dreamed about playing with his cousins.

Suddenly, he had a full uniform on. He was in a giant stadium. Thousands of fans were calling his name.

“Di-on! Di-on! Di-on!”
