Sid's Easter Egg Hunt

The big Easter egg hunt was in five days. Sid couldn’t wait!

Last year, his big sister, Meg, was the egg hunt champion. She found fourteen eggs!

“This year I want to be the egg champion just like you,” Sid said to Meg.

“It won’t happen overnight,” Meg said. “I can teach you the secrets, but you have to practice. Training starts tomorrow!”

The next day was Monday. Meg hid lots of eggs, but Sid didn’t find any.

Sid climbed into bed. He put his head on the pillow. He heard a CRACK! Meg had hidden an egg in his pillow! Yuck!

“Rule number one,” Meg said, “no sleeping during an egg hunt.”
