Franklin the Unicorn

Franklin lived in the woods with a family of bears. Franklin wanted to be just like his bear brothers.

But Franklin was not a bear.

Franklin was a unicorn.

Franklin’s brothers liked to catch fish. They always caught a lot of fish.

Franklin did not have paws like his brothers.

He couldn’t catch fish with his horn.

Franklin’s brothers liked to practice growling. They could growl loud and strong.

Franklin tried to growl, but it did not sound right. Franklin’s growl was a high-pitched, “Whinneeeeeeeey.”

When Franklin sneezed, rainbows flew from his nose.

Franklin’s brothers laughed. “Bears don’t sneeze rainbows!” they said.
