Team Tortoise and Team Hare at the Summer Games

The Summer Games were being held in London, England. The stands were packed with people. They had come to watch athletes from around the world.

Everyone was excited to see the main race of the day: Team Tortoise versus Team Hare.

Team Hare was the first to enter the field. They had brand new sneakers and bright blue matching tracksuits.

“Team Tortoise doesn’t stand a chance,” the rabbit runners said to each other.

Team Tortoise entered the field next. They took their time coming to the start line. Their shoes were worn from long days of practicing.

“Hey Team Tortoise,” Team Hare yelled, “Don’t get lost in our dust!”
