Larry the Unlucky Leprechaun

Larry was a very unlucky leprechaun.

Larry was always in trouble for losing his pot of gold.

His brother, Larwart, never lost his gold.

Larry’s father, King Larmy the Last, was the ruler of Leprechaun Land.

“Larry,” his father scolded, “this is the third pot of gold you’ve lost this week! If you lose another pot, then your brother, Larwart, will be king and not you.”

Larry knew that his brother Larwart would be a bad king. He was a very mean leprechaun.

Larwart always picked on Larry and the other leprechauns.

Larry could not fail his father. He took his last pot of gold and hid it carefully at the end of the rainbow.
