My First Bus Ride

Today is going to be a good day. Today my papa is taking me to the science museum.

We pack our lunches. We walk to the bus stop. Today is my first bus ride.

We get to the bus stop. Papa puts a few coins in my hand.

“That’s your fare,” Papa says. “Don’t lose it.”

The bus pulls up. I start walking to the door.

“You have to wait your turn!” Papa says. “There are people in front of us in line.”

We wait our turn. Then we board the bus.
